I received two projects from the lovely Gayle Brindley in the U.S. Both of them are now quilt tops waiting to be quilted.
This one didn't need much to go from this ...
This one needed a bit more to go from these blocks and pieces..
To this finished top randomly thrown together. I love how the HSTs interplay with those Drunkard's Path blocks
At the beginning of summer I also got a great large star block from my stingy bee mate Catherine.
And yesterday and the day before I spent making log cabin type blocks out of strips to add to those already made by Sally.
I have pieced them into another top but my cat is insisting that I do something else - at least that's what I think she is saying!
So that will be another four quilts for #siblingstogether - just need to find some wadding and backing fabric. And some time of course!
Well that's what I've been doing...
Im sure it is still the second Tuesday of the month somewhere, and time for the Scraptastic Tuesday link up hosted by Leanne at She Can Quilt and me. We are a bit late out of the gate today as the second Tuesday of September snuck up on us a bit, this being just September 8, getting kids back to school and all.
