My November in fabric!

FMQ and Swaps seem to have taken over November.....

Here is my FMQ or Free Motion Quilting

Sadly FMQ Friday is no more as the lovely Cindy at Fluffy Sheep Quilting has got other things to do - like moving house, keeping a close on her rascally cat and probably washing her hair!   I have enjoyed it immensely for the practice, tips, help, support but mostly for the chat and laughs with the other intrepid FMQers!

Instead I have now signed up to more FMQ events starting up in 2012!  I will be sharing details of those in due course.

I have been using my Aurifil winnings in all these projects - the lovely boxful of gorgeous colours courtesy of the lovely Lynne of Lily's quilts and Alex Veronelli of Aurifil!  To good effect I hope !  And I have loved every minute of it!  Cannot get enough of the gorgeous Aurifil 28 thread and I may have started another addiction....oh well Christmas and birthday coming up soon...will need to drop heavy hints to hubby!

Here are my swap items in the Brit Quilt Pillow Fight Swap

The first photo is the gorgeous cushion I received from Jeanette (aka Hobbylass) up in Scotland, the others are my double sided cushion and matching pincushion which I sent to Lynda aka Quack Quack 22.  It slightly unnerved me to find out that she was in Scotland when my cushion arrived on her doorstep but I think hubby was around to save it from ruin!

And lastly but not least - the Christmas Tablerunner Swap mosaic with photos of sent items and items made that I thought about sending round the outside.

With my newly received tablerunner in the middle!   This runner has come all the way across the world from Canada from the lovely Susan Lock and isn't it just right for my dining room table?

This was my November in pictures...and I am linking up to the lovely Lynne @ Lily's Quilts for Fresh Sewing Day and will be having a look at what everyone else has been up to this past month - wouldn't you like to join us??
