Look at what I won!

The lovely Alison at Little Island Quilting had a giveaway recently for the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day!  And I was one of the winners!

Who'd have believed it!?

Well Alison must have tripped the light fantastic down to the PO to send on a gorgeous jelly roll of Moda Nature's Choice and a very generous bag of scraps - they arrived so quickly!

See here!

I will of course be plotting what to make with this glorious bounty...I do have one of the Jelly roll quilt books by Pam and Nicky Lintott - so something in there may tempt me to cut up this very pretty fabric....

Oh and I do love that cow card - specially the 'S'!

And as for the scraps - I am loving the curious collection Alison has sent my way and I recognise some pieces from her recent quilts but cannot remember seeing the crazy cow fabric to which I am strangely drawn....

What does that say about me ....yup I guess you are right crazy cow that I am!

The scraps are in their own way more exciting than the jelly roll - don't you just love a window into someone else's stash....?  No ?  Just me then!?  Crazy bovine indeed!

  1. Lucky girl, Christmas came early for you. I also like the card; altogether some very clever designers out there.

  2. Very cool, and I love that card too (especially the 'S')

    Have a fab Christmas :o)

  3. Lucky lady. Oh, I do love the cow card very much. Merry Christmas.

  4. Guess I'd be in the crazy bovine category too... love getting scraps from someone elses stash!

  5. Why are we awake at silly o'clock? Anyone bumped into Santa yet?

  6. Congratulations on the win! Your prizes are lovely and that card is perfect!

  7. Great fabrics! and I guess we're all going to go to Guernsey now to track down that card!
    Happy Christmas Nicky!

  8. Merry Christmas Nicky, hope you have a brilliant day! Lovely prize from Alison. Hope Santa is equally as generous to you too!

  9. Congratulations, Nicky!! Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

  10. Lovely JR and scraps - I can't wait to see what you make!

Hello, I'd really like to hear from you...
